Eagle Projects

Each candidate working toward the rank of Eagle plans a service project in their community. Projects have included landscape installations, building refurbishment, and more.


Western Trails District Cub Scout Day Camp

Each July, Scouts volunteer with stations and dens at the week-long Western Trails District Day Camp. Located in the Cleveland Metroparks, each Day Camp is run solely through volunteers and helpful Boy Scouts.


Seven Ranges

As required to earn the coveted Pipestone, Seven Ranges provides Troop 526 with large-scale service projects to be completed one afternoon each summer. Projects typically involve clearing wooded areas for paths and other substantial camp improvements.



Cady Road Clean Up / Yard Charge

The annual Greater Cleveland Council "Yard Charge" brings scouts from across Northeastern Ohio to neighbors' yards. In the Fall and the ocassional Spring, Troop 526 gives back to the sisters of St. Clare for sharing their campgrounds and meeting space by doing yardwork and other duties. Additional projects have included firepits and construction of a special cabin.


St. Albert Craft Fair

Scouts assist merchants at the St. Albert Craft fair throughout the weekend and have opportunities to sell nuts for the Troop's Holiday Nut Sale.
