Scout Account
Troop Email
Troop 526 uses email to regularly communicate among its youth, leaders, and families. Youth leaders have their own addresses through the duration of their positions, and Eagle Scouts may request to have @troop526.org email addresses.
Youth leadership and the patrol method drive the Scouting program. If you have a message to be sent to the entire Troop, contact the Troop Scribe (scribe@troop526.org) before attempting to reach the Scoutmaster. If the Scribe has elected not to run an email account for their tenure, please contac the SPL: spl@troop526.org.Make sure you stay up to date by submitting your contact information to lists@troop526.org.
Scouts who change leadership positions should pass on their email accounts. If you have trouble logging in to your position's email account at mail.troop526.org, please contact the webmaster.

Troop Finances
Each Scout has his own financial account which may be used towards camping trips, Scouting-related purchases, Boy's Life Magazine, and even annual dues. Funds are contributed to the account through fundraisers.
Troop 526 uses funds from the same sources to purchase camping supplies, t-shirts, and camp fees on behalf of the scouts – a luxury made possible through the support of our community. We also have a fund to assist families with summer camp costs.
Scouts are also asked to contribute annual, minimal dues to assist the Troop with its programming. Roughly half of the dues go to BSA National and our local council.
Inquire about your account balance by writing to the Troop Treasurer.2014 Dues are $70; the deadline was April 15th.
